WGA Awards Nominations
The WGA has released their list of nominees for the awards they give out (presumably, writing awards).
The nominees for best screenplay are a bunch of films I haven’t seen but really want to, and Knocked Up. I saw half of Knocked Up and found it to be… what’s that word?… garbage. And keep in mind I love Paul Rudd (probably more than I should).
In the adapted screenplay category are extremely badass scripts like No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood, and that hippy movie Sean Penn adapted. I warn you, if Sean Penn wins a writing award there will be many hadoukens. They will all be aimed at people’s groin regions. FYI.

i love knocked up. not as good at 40yov but still good. maybe the movie was too girly for you. haha.
