I present to you now the dance-tastic music video for Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” which is hilarious even by 80’s standards.

MTV however, chose not to show this video and instead used a live performance of the song recorded at a promotional appearance on the BBC TV show Wogan). This was possibly due to the fact that the original video contains no actual performance or lip-synching of the song, or more likely they simply felt the original video too highbrow or sexualy charged for their audience.
That’s because 30 seconds after watching this video the poor programming director at MTV died of laughter. And shame. And possibly a Duran Duran-related infection.
