The Voices of Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers’

I can’t believe I missed this. Apparently they made a video of the actors doing voice work for Michael Bay’s Transformers. Yes, including the magnificent Peter Cullen.

When Peter Cullen says, “1986 was my last shot at this,” the kid in me poops his OshKosh B’Gosh shorts. Say what you will about the film, but Michael Bay needs to be commended for bringing Peter Cullen back to voice Optimus Prime. Now, if only he’d have had Vince DiCola do the score, and Stan Bush provide some glam-rock tracks, and actually brought Frank Welker in to do Megatron… sigh…

Speaking of voice work, I would also be remiss in not mentioning that you can download some hilariously profanity-filled voice recording outtakes from Thundercats. My personal favorite is the one with Snarf coughing, but that doesn’t have any swearing in it (unfortunately).
